To be fair, and this had probably to do a lot with my tired, sleepy eyes at the compo-moment, this was hard to appreciate on the big screen. Now that I gave it a look here I understand it better.

Magervalp: Now unlocked. :)

I played around with this pic for a year and never thought of it as a release until DS2012. I was at a funeral right before the party, and was not able to focus on pixelling at the party so I decided to release this experiment. And yes, Magnar, It's made in Photoshop first (from scratch) and converted-wired, then polished up and kicked around in Project One for a while.

But my pic was obviously so bad it did not even get a rank in the compo (?).

Of course it did, but the entry is locked so it can't be updated.

I like it. But the problem with this type of picture is that it looks like you used your mobilephone cam on some wood, converted the jpg with project one and saved it as koala. In other words, the amount of time pixeling from scratch just doesn't show. If you did start pixeling this from scratch, then it is amazingly great work! Cheers

Thanx Hoild. But my pic was obviously so bad it did not even get a rank in the compo (?). It was an experiment with abstract patterns, still trying to depict something that could be translated as cracked rock or wood. I wanted to try it out. Maybe I should keep to dead fishes and ruins. :D

It does look interesting. The kind of abstract art that I find pleasing, be it converted or pixelled by hand.
