Simply awesome! Complex yet simplistic.

A new Max Machine title is an automatic 10 from me, if there was an 11 this would go there! :) fantastic weird puzzler!
The combination of Max Machine and 1351 is also so perverse, this might in fact go to 12 on my personal scale =)

I didn't like this one, due to the fact that there's too many controls and does not support joystick.

Tried running it in Vice 2.4a x64sc but can't get past the initial logo: the mouse pointer does not move, as if it was not connected. Mouse settings: 1351, port 2, as stated in the readme. Does anybody have a clue about what am I doing wrong?

This is a reduced demake of the PC/Mac/Linux/iOS/Android game SpaceChem (Zachtronics Industries). It is probably the first and only game in about 28 years which is made for the Commodore Ultimax (only 4k RAM, no Kernal, no Basic, no Font, no serial I/O) also known as MAX Machine oder VC-10. Requirements: C64 mouse (1351) in port 2!
