I'm not a graphic designer but well kept proportions when you painted from original and it can be seen with naked eye that it's not a scan !

Sith : Nah it wasn't on purpose, was freehanding it so when I got to that part it was slightly out of frame. I could fix it, but seeing how unwelcome it has been, don't think there is much point in fixing it really.

It shouldn't be too hard for a programmer to take that pixel data and place it back lower on the screen so the cut off ear can be finished, unless that was deliberate of course.

It’s not taboo as such, people have different opinions on copies. I understand where Joe is coming from and I can relate to that in my own past releases. Whilst I think it’s good advice, I would also say don’t be discouraged from making things on the C64 in whatever way you enjoy.

Yes, I did do it from a picture of Okamiden. Twas not scanned, I pixelled it myself. Didn't know I had committed some kind of taboo, Guess Ill have to be more careful what I put out there I guess.

Illustrated meme. Thanks Scout. I almost fell for my own alliterate knowledge of everything.

It’s easy to go back into the old discourse again about copies & prejudice and recently in Sweden juridical cases.
I’m glad to see you made the image your own. Even with the freedom of not actually cut off an ear
if you would be smart enough.
I for one also made some copies and also very original artwork.
Which do I want to forget? The copies of course, and so should you...

Very Nice Retrograde, it's a real shame the ear got cut off though, it's hard to judge the center when you pixel isn't it, I noticed that too, anyway great stuff, can't wait to see your next release! :)
