So jammin' good. What an 'earworm'; indeed much better than the original game music. Thanks for this guys.

Boobs and female exploitation on C64? This won't end well :)

"Would it not be much more meaningful to post that to the bug-tracker of the corresponding emulator?"
it works on recent version - so no =)

Hmm,
this happens alot recently (posts of different emulators that fail on specific releases).
Would it not be much more meaningful to post that to the bug-tracker of the corresponding emulator?
And yes, they may not care for bugs of super-old versions.
Unless its an Anti-Emulator-release (which this maybe partially is :) I see no point in posting about emu-failures...

thumbs up for making some ppl think over their emulation and/or testing environment...

VICE v2.2 ? seriously? ^_^

Not my fault if you hurt yourselves with emulators and chameleons :-) In fact i had been fighting with some ugly bug that made this demo work on vice but not on real hardware. It worked all fine so far on vice 2.4 which is already very old. And yes, it hangs with chameleon, that got confirmed by the compo orgas *snicker*. And the crash after the original chuck rock intro, it is fake, it is part of the presentation, and i am happy that i was able to make it authentic enough to make you believe the whole demo crashed :-)

Ian, yes on winvice it works fine with virtual drive traps off, but does not work on my real c64 and chameleon device (works until the tom-drums and blank screen) when mounting and loading via load "*",8,1

Virtual Device Traps must be OFF with True Drive Emulation ON when loading from d64s with custom loaders.
Virtual dev traps must be ON only when loading from prg/t64.

If it works well via floppy then it's time for the cores in chameleon and 1541u2 to be updated :-)

@conjuror. It seems to crash, but give it a few seconds and it will display the next part. I assumed this as well with the garbled gfx while loading the data. However it does not continue to the main part. Keeps on playing back the tom drums with the blank screen.

Btw on chameleon via dma load, the demo does not work at all, however mounting the disk and loading via load "*",8,1 will start it.

Nice. The loader seems fast. Any information about this?

Freezes during the rock-part, a few seconds after the animations starts. I have virtual device traps enabled.

6R6: Probably you should have Virtual Device Traps switched on. It works fine with my Vice. The same problem was with Dream Travel's loader.

But seems to work fine on real hw and 1570. ;-)
