Nice tool. The only tool I'm missing here is to send a floppy command from the PC to the connected drive of the C64 (for scratching files for example).
BTW : Why I cannot find this entry if I search in the CSDB for it ?
Searching for "EasyFlash 3" brings only 3 entries, "Easyflash3" only 1.
The only way to find this entry was via Google :-(

Works like a charme under linux since the first version.
Compiled with:
gcc -static -o ef3trans ef3usb.c -lftdi -lusb

And make sure to have the proper rights to access the USB or launch as root.

Fails to work here:
I built this for linux 3.19 (x86_64), using libftdi. USB device is found, but a transfer never occurs.

$- ef3usb s

Handshake: EFSTART:PRG
Response: [WAIT]
Waiting...

Did anyone succeed in running ef3usb on linux?

This is a bug fix version - TAP File Reader has been fixed and is much more reliable now. In fact if you don't do too much multitasking on the PC side it should be 100% perfect on all tapes.
