no, you need speeddos for that, normal DOS will not access tracks >35

and those speedDOS+ formatted disks could be fully accessed via standard 1541 ROM/Directory ?

in the first place "speeddos 2.7" didnt exist =) there was "speeddos" (original, 35 tracks) and "speeddos+" (40 tracks). anything else is a clone (and they were more common than the original =P)

I've had a 1541 Disk Drive with Speeddos 2.7. The difference between 2.0+ and 2.7 is that the v2.7 is just 35 Tracks Speeder, Version 2.0+ is 40 Tracks.
