| I PM'ed doZe/Samar a couple weeks ago about how the multiplayer version is coming along (since I've also contributed to it ;)), he said he and Skull ARE working on it and it's not cancelled or anything, it's just taking quite a while. Commitments will be the reason why. | User Comment Submitted by radiantx on 14 April 2008
| So, when will the multiplayer version be released? :-P | User Comment Submitted by ready. on 14 April 2008
| Wow!!Great game! My wife usually is not C64 addicted and complains about me always being on my C64. Guess what? She became even more addicted than me on Bomberman64!! | User Comment Submitted by nooly on 12 January 2008

Later... New release! ;-) | User Comment Submitted by Krill on 24 January 2007
| Yes, very nice Preview. Concerning multiplayer, please also add a netplay option via rrnet.. :) | User Comment Submitted by d0c on 24 January 2007
i like this game very much, its a great game but with a little improvment as bomberman theme song, more levels and multi players, this would kick seriouse ass and be up there among oceans and images killer games!...
and what about bomberman c64 contruction set, where you can make your own levels?.. | User Comment Submitted by Leon on 23 January 2007 User Comment Submitted by Laxity on 23 January 2007
| Linus, you're a lamer too.. And my dad is stronger than yours - and and.. my filters are better than yours... and .. where was I?.. ;) | User Comment Submitted by Sixx/G¤P on 23 January 2007
| Great conversion! Music sucks tho, should have been the classic Bomberman theme. | User Comment Submitted by Linus on 23 January 2007
| @Laxity: It doesn't surprise me at all you don't recognize how bad they really are, lamer. Go ahead, rip Hubbard's player again instead of sharing your -wrong- opinion! ;) | User Comment Submitted by Laxity on 23 January 2007
| what's wrong with the filters? I didn't notice anything being WRONG with them. If you'd like some really lame filters I'd like to help. I can even show you how to screw up the whole tune. | User Comment Submitted by Conrad on 22 January 2007
@nata:
Sidder composed the note tune.
@chronos:
Good luck with making the plus4 version! =) | User Comment Submitted by chronos on 22 January 2007
Lol, we're working currently on the commodore plus4 version of this game :)
Our game differs from this one, it will be a max. 4 player computer/real player version with 10 levels.
props to samar! :)

| Nice game... Nata, you're are for some reason not very constructive in your way of giving critique, eventhough I guess you mean well... I think the music I have heard from you CRD has been really good... It is nice to see a new musician entering the scene and focusing his energy on the melodic parts as you do... | User Comment Submitted by Linus on 22 January 2007
| ... way more skilled than a lot of other musicians. I seriously doubt he needs any advice on how to do filters 'right' as that is a matter of taste anyway. | User Comment Submitted by Scout on 22 January 2007
| @Nata: IMO, CRD is skilled enough. =P | User Comment Submitted by Conrad on 22 January 2007
@Nata: It's up to you if you want to modify the filters or not.
I only had a couple days to write the music (from scratch) and I wasn't fully swithced on to try and make a good piece, so I would expect someone to comment the music would be a bit crap.
Plus, the only version of Bomberman I've played before was Dynablaster on the Amiga, so I didn't know whether or not that was the original song anyway. | User Comment Submitted by da1ezy on 21 January 2007
| great conversion, this one will cost some of my precious sleeping-time =) | User Comment Submitted by ne7 on 21 January 2007 User Comment Submitted by Laxity on 21 January 2007
| Nice job.. VERY good port of an excellent game.. | User Comment Submitted by skull on 21 January 2007
Thx for comments!
Multiplayer mode coming soon ...:)
The game code can use many players (all properties player are indexed - teoretical in game may play even 256 players), but sprite's count is the limit (2 sprites for every player)
Ulitmate, game will be use 5 players : 4x joy (CGA interface is implemented) - 1 keyboard (i'll try to make player's sprites mulitplexer)
Now, i can bidding previous version game called "boombastic benny", it has good multiplayer mode for 3 players!
What about "the best score" competition?:P
ps. sorry, but my english is weak. | User Comment Submitted by Marauder/GSS on 21 January 2007
wow! great piece of conversion! I loved playing that game with my friendz on Amiga these dayz (up to 5 players)...
but agree to radiantx, multiplayer mode was the most important feature of the game...
if you'll need a multi-joyport, let me know - I still have my working 8-port prototype here (done in 1990),
where you're able to have up to 8 joystick ports at same time... (c;
anyway, great conversion! good job! :) | User Comment Submitted by Richard on 21 January 2007
| Excellent game. Awesome music and it would have made a great commercial title for the good old C64. Why not draw a loading picture, and get it tape mastered for Cronosoft :) It's up to you anyway. Once again, well done. | User Comment Submitted by MagerValp on 21 January 2007
Very nice, lovely use of hires.
| User Comment Submitted by radiantx on 21 January 2007
| Awesome conversion, but the most important feature seems to be missing: Two player mode! :-) | User Comment Submitted by JackAsser on 21 January 2007
| Very nice but it should have been released on MO8... :D | User Comment Submitted by Trazan on 21 January 2007
| Looks like a nice game - will try. | User Comment Submitted by The_WOZ on 21 January 2007 User Comment Submitted by LordNikon on 21 January 2007 User Comment Submitted by Matt on 21 January 2007 User Comment Submitted by Thunder.Bird on 21 January 2007
