@Veto: I second that. I love hires too. I know that one of the biggest challenges for me with Koala and such is the 2x1 aspect ratio of multicolor/bitmap pixels...but of course many overcome that with apparent ease.

jsl, you should really try hires some day. there are hardly more than two colors in each block and i am sure these kind of pics will benefit from a higher resolution.
