It's an abbreviation for "Gun UNit Heavy Elemination Device".
The Gunhed Battalion was a large group of these robots that were destroyed during a war against a world controlling computer.
Don't bother watching this Movie. It sucks :)

- Coded many stuff with just the FC3-Monitor before 1997 (Like Biometal, Devil Crash etc.)
