Israel is at war with Hamas
I want to thank a lot of people who contacted me through Facebook and here, expressing their concern for me after the Hamas assault a week ago, where they brutally killed more than 1300 people. I am grateful to everyone for their interest and support for me and my country. I don't want this post to be political in any way, shape, or form. Even today, I still believe in humanity and peace among all people, nations, and religions. As I write this post, I can hear rockets flying from Gaza to here (I live near Tel Aviv). Let's hope for better days for the world!

Except for defending yourself from an attack, imho. |

Thanks for letting us know you and the others are alright, Alex, that's the best news inbetween all these bad news every day. I keep my fingers crossed for you.
Unfortunately there's not much reason to hope that the global situation is about to get any more peaceful soonish. Rather looks like others will seize what they see as their big chance to bring havoc and death to their neighbors, just look at Serbia or Azerbaijan, and that's all just the top of the iceberg.
Stay strong! |

It's really good to hear that everything is fine with you, it's a shock to me that such things still happen in the 21st century, wish you all the best and take care! |

as ex byg , Guy S. did music for hexagone.. so I know of him "a long time" and like more it didn't matter where he was from etc. A lot of folk who you don't know or would never know have the common ground of c64.
As a Londoner (yes we weren't all french. ) , I see the knock on effect far far away , as there are people from both places nearby me in well known area's that both people settle . I don't see how this stuff will be resolved.. I just know that many, women / kids / elderly on *BOTH* sides aren't political are caught up in it.
I don't see how the "H" people are representing people from there, many are just caught in the crossfire sadly.
I find it sad some people are trying to use it for their owne purposes on twitter / x etc |

Glad you're still in one piece, Dr.j.
Best wishes from Australia to civilians on both sides of this mess, and condolences to those who've lost friends and family in the conflict. |
