Graphics artist wanted for DTV demo

I'm looking for a decent graphics artist to create some gfx for my new demo for the C64 DTV (a Noice logo, and perhaps some pics).
I don't know if this is the right place to look, since the graphics mode is actually 320x200 in 256 colors, so not classic C64 territory, but perhaps someone is looking for a chance to try something new? Or should I look at some other site (recommendations please) for a pixel-artist.

Also, if I noone is interested, I will be using converted Boris Vallejo graphics! So if you are tired of seeing those in demos, here's your chance! :D

Ah, you nitpicker :)
I mean, Pro Motion is still available for legitimate purchase, Brilliance is not (at least up to my knowledge). That more or less qualifies it as an abandonware.

And please, people. Photoshop, GIMP and their clones are _not_ pixelling tools, most of them firmly suck when it comes to pixel graphics. I'm not saying one can't pixel in these, but a real pixelling tool has a totally different approach to the artist's needs than a photo manipulation software.

when I dont pixel at c64 I pixel with gimp. 800% zoom + a 200% window + 8x8 guidelines. Perfekt. But do as you all wish...

i always liked PSP (earlier versions, latest ones suck) for working with 256 cols images.... much better handling of palettes etc than photoshop (and gimp, YUCK). hell photoshop cant even save a pcx properly =P

Haha, yeah, I noticed that the thread kind of took off in all kinds of directions. The main things discussed seems to be the merits of Boris Vallejo conversions in the demoscene and what tool is best suited for 256-color pixeling. :)
Still better than dying the horrible no-responses-at-all-death, and I cling to the fact that Archmage actually asked what tool could be used, perhaps he is considering...

DTVMon you wimps. LOL!

That is exactly what I'll be doing. Enjoy guys! Whatever tools comes out that does nice pixeling - I might look into but I want tools JUST for DTV and run inside DTV.

Tool should run in $000000-$00ffff bank. The bitmap in the rest of the banks.

The tool should also have a viewer routine. (Hint: gfx tool for the 8bpp mode)
